OUR BELIEFS
We believe the MSK markets in Asia need an innovative disruption in MSK care. The current MSK care-giver to total population ratio in China and ASEAN markets is more than 10 times lower than in the US market. With an aging population, China is facing a steep challenge in improving the efficiency of its existing MSK care system. In most ASEAN markets, there is a rapidly growing demand for more advanced MSK care services with a rising population and GDP per capita. We believe the existing model of relying solely on physical clinic visits for patient care is not a sustainable way to meet the sharply growing demand. We believe that Asian people deserve a more affordable and easily accessible MSK care solution to help manage their pain. We believe our technology can disrupt the current paradigm and provide relief from pain to more people in Asia.
Founded in August 2023 by Mr. Oscar Wong and Mr. Terry Li, Oscar, an engineering expert, has been working in AI-assisted skeletal sensing technology since 2016 and managed an R&D team based in the Greater Bay Area (GBA). Terry, with over 30 years of banking and insurance executive experience, has worked in various Asian markets, including Vietnam, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Indonesia. Both Oscar and Terry are EMBA graduates from Ivey Business School, Western University, Canada.
Raphai has developed skeletal-sensing technology that enables real-time monitoring of Musculoskeletal (MSK) Medicine Exercise-Prescription (ExRx) and patient interaction. This cloud-based solution can help MSK caregivers evolve into a highly interactive 'phygital' caregiver and patient journey, thereby improving recovery time. The overall healthcare system can enhance MSK care accessibility at a lower cost.
