Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Albert WONG Hak-keung

Albert is leading HKSTP on a mission to support tech startups and enterprises on their journey for innovation and growth. He and his team are focused on nurturing talent, entrepreneurship, connections and commercialising R&D into successful innovation with impact. As CEO of HKSTP since 2016, his team has overseen the growth of HKSTP into Hong Kong’s home for unicorns and the city’s largest R&D hub with over 11,000 research professionals and over 1,000 tech companies.

He has 30-plus years of commercial, industrial and leadership roles with various multinationals which have provided him with deep China and Asia-Pacific insight, plus critical understanding of building companies, investment networks and solving market needs. Prior to HKSTP, he spent 15 years in total with GE, with roles at its US headquarters, Asia-Pacific and China. He served as CEO, GE Oil & Gas China, as well as CEO, GE Industrial Solutions Asia Pacific – where he was responsible for M&A, Business Development, Product Management, and Business Operations. Other roles prior to GE include management and engineering roles at PerkinElmer, Emerson, Caterpillar and Schlumberger.

Albert holds an Engineering Degree from the University of Hong Kong and an MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Outside of work, Albert actively contributes to the community. He is a member of The Court of The University of Hong Kong and a board member the Hong Kong Sports Institute. An avid runner, Albert regularly takes part in marathons around the world.

Chief Marketing Officer


Jojo Cheung is a marketing and communications professional with a passion to champion change and drive transformation. She joined IBM in 1997 and since then served various business leadership roles in Greater China, ASEAN and Asia Pacific with focus on managing diverse country and solution portfolios to generate demand through social and digital practice and serving as the brand curator to build advocacy. She worked in Apple Inc of China and Hong Kong as well as Intel Asia Pacific prior to IBM, and is now Chief Marketing Officer of Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation beginning July of 2017.

Chief Corporate Development Officer

Mr. Eugene Hsia

Eugene leads HKSTP’s Technology Clusters, Platforms, Incubation, Strategic Partnerships, Investment and Leasing & Operation Services. Working closely with the executive team, Eugene is at the forefront of executing our strategy of building a vibrant ecosystem at the Science Park. He and his teams are also responsible for bringing reputable companies and technologies to Hong Kong, and creating value for all partner companies through close collaboration and partnerships. 

Eugene obtained his Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from Boston College in the U.S.  He has a strong understanding of the innovation & technology ecosystem, bringing solid and proven experiences in both strategic and operational aspects of building a business. He has over 24 years of deep technology knowledge, specializing in technical infrastructure, software applications, and services consulting. He had managed and grown global teams for various Silicon Valley companies, such as Hewlett Packard, IBM, and Agilent Technologies. Eugene also co-founded two successful start-ups in the US & Singapore respectively, bringing with him the entrepreneur spirit and startup experience to the HKSTP family.

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Aldous MAK

Mr. Aldous Mak is a seasoned finance and accounting professional with more than 20 years’ experience in financial planning, controllership, risk management, corporate advisory, business operations and financial system integration. He joined HKSTP as Chief Financial Officer in May 2019 to oversee Finance, IT, Process Re-engineering and Procurement, as well as providing advice on investments, corporate development and business decisions. He is also leading on-going efforts within the Corporation to drive efficiency and effectiveness to maximise the business results. 

Aldous obtained his Bachelor degree in Business Administration (Accountancy) and Master degree in Business Administration from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He began his career as an Accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Hong Kong. Prior to joining HKSTP, he held various management roles, including Director of Finance, at Hong Kong Disneyland. He is a Certified Public Accountant (Practising) with the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a Fellow member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. 

General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer

Mrs. Rosana WONG

Mrs. Rosana Wong is a highly credentialed commercial lawyer with a wealth of private practice and in-house experience. She joined HKSTP as General Counsel in June 2019, overseeing all legal related matters and the Corporation’s strategic development and delivery of its various partnership initiatives.

Rosana obtained her law degree at the University of Hong Kong and was admitted as a Solicitor in Hong Kong, England & Wales and Australia (Queensland, New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory). She began her career at Baker & McKenzie, working in both its Hong Kong and Sydney offices, before moving to Mayer Brown as an associate focusing on the Corporate Finance area.  After seven years in private practice, Rosana moved in-house as the legal counsel for the tech giant IBM, supporting its business in Hong Kong and the People’s Republic of China.  

With more than 30 years of commercial experience, she joined HKSTP with an aspiration of giving back to the community through helping the Corporation implement its vision and mission to support a new era of Innovation and Technology for Hong Kong.

Chief Project Development Officer

Mr. Simon WONG

Mr. Simon Wong Yuk-Sun joined Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation as Chief Project Development Officer in April 2017. He is responsible to lead the Project Development Division to plan and deliver all new development projects in Science Park and Industrial Estates that incorporates the latest technologies into building design. Mr. Wong would also act as a key facilitator in attracting, nurturing and retaining companies and start-ups in the targeted clusters, and to enable the setting up of Advanced Manufacturing Centers in various Industrial Estates.

Mr. Wong obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Architectural Studies) and a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Hong Kong. He is a Registered Architect and Authorized Person (List 1) under the Buildings Ordinance since 1994. Simon is a fellow of Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management (HKIFM) and member of Hong Kong Institute of Architects (HKIA), Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA), The Royal Australian Institute of Architects (RAIA), Hong Kong Institute of Real Estate Administrators (HIREA) and China Real Estate Chamber of Commerce – Hong Kong Chapter (CRECCHK).

Mr. Wong has over 25 years of experience and in-depth knowledge in the master planning and design, project development and management, leasing and marketing, as well as repositioning and asset management for real estate developments in Hong Kong and Mainland China. He started his architectural career and worked as the Associate Director of WMKY (Architects & Engineers) Ltd. for various development projects in Hong Kong, Macau, Vietnam and Mainland China in the 90’s. Mr. Wong was the General Manager-Project & Planning for the Link Management Ltd. in 2008 and led the planning and implementation of various asset enhancement projects.

Mr. Wong has worked for various senior positions in MTR Corporation Ltd. for almost 20 years. He was the Head of China Investment Property since 2013 and led the MTR commercial property business in China. He was also the Chief Architectural & Project Manager, who was responsible for the project planning and delivery of various award winning projects, such as the Elements, PopCorn, Maritime Square, Telford Plaza and etc. in Hong Kong. Prior to joining the HKSTP, he was the Managing Director of CSI Investment Property Ltd., who was responsible to oversee all commercial property investment and development for the Group.
