We develop refined molecular diagnostics solutions for the veterinary industry, focusing on meeting the demand for on-site nucleic acid testing. FLASH Diagnostics is a spin-off from the HKUST, founded in June 2022 by Dr. Xiao Lu and Dr. Alan Rodriguez.
We have developed the first nucleic acid rapid test that can detect pathogenic genetic material in the vast majority of biological and environmental sample types. FLASH Diagnostics will operate in the veterinary diagnostics segment, with a focus on operations in the companion animal group. We are currently developing and validating several in-clinic diagnostic solutions that we have branded as ‘FLASH Tests’: palm-sized disposable tests that combine the power of nucleic acid testing with the convenience of the widely used rapid test format.
