TechConnect is a 12-month co-incubation programme jointly launched by Microsoft Hong Kong and HKSTP, empowering global startups to enter and grow in the Hong Kong market. Focused on Smart City innovation—especially in Property, Marketing, and Retail Technology—the programme supports startups ready to build and scale locally.

Participants will receive funding and business landing support, technical enablement, and industry connections from the programme. The journey includes two selection rounds and culminates in a final Demo Day, where top teams pitch to industry leaders and unlock new growth opportunities.

HKU DeepTech100 is a one year co-ideation programme with HKU TEC and HKSTP. This programme is first of its kind in Hong Kong aiming for translating deep tech research outcome from top university into future businesses. HKU and HKSTP will joint force to provide research and development resources as well as business and startup support.

L'Oréal BIG BANG Beauty Tech Innovation Program was launched in 2020. It is the first open startup challenge dedicated to cutting-edge beauty tech applications and a key driver for L'Oréals strategic transformation in beauty technology. The program aims to collaborate with startups and innovators to co-create revolutionary beauty tech solutions and experiences.

This co-incubation program is for top startups with validated business ideas and functional prototypes, while the solutions involve with AI / Machine Learning. It provides cloud and machine learning technical advisory, product design mentorship, networking with potential customers and partners, up to HKD1.29M funding from HKSTP, and it aims to support AI startups on finding their use cases, scaling up overall AI adoptions, fostering long-term growth and success.

The Rocketing AI Co-incubation Program, a collaborative initiative between Google and HKSTP, represents a significant milestone in advancing Hong Kong’s tech ecosystem.

Through a holistic package of resources, mentorship, and funding, the program seeks to accelerate the success of startups and drive innovation within Hong Kong’s thriving tech ecosystem. Selected startups will benefit from up to USD $350,000 in Google Cloud Credits, up to HKD $1.29 million funded by HKSTP, and the guidance of a dedicated account manager from Google and HKSTP – all to ensure a smooth ascent to achieve your goals.
