Hosted at Hong Kong Science Park in collaboration with key education associations, HKSTP’s AI for Empowering Learning and Teaching Seminar brought together over 200 educators, principals, and I&T leaders to unlock the full potential of AI in education.
The event provided a one-stop strategic platform to help schools maximize the Education Bureau’s HK$500,000 funding grant.
HKSTP’s flagship annual robotics event for tertiary education—concluded in high gear with 15 elite student teams from 9 local institutions competing for glory. Drawing inspiration from traditional Chinese martial arts, this year’s “Kung Fu Quest” challenge tested over 300 student innovators in engineering precision and strategy. The University of Hong Kong’s Team Sapientia claimed the championship title following a series of intense matchups. As the official home team, they will represent Hong Kong at the upcoming ABU Robocon 2026, hosted locally alongside RTHK, to compete against top teams from 15 countries and regions.
