Annual I&T Flagship “Robocon Hong Kong Contest 2026” Concludes with Great Success

HKSTP’s flagship annual robotics event for tertiary education—concluded in high gear with 15 elite student teams from 9 local institutions competing for glory. Drawing inspiration from traditional Chinese martial arts, this year’s “Kung Fu Quest” challenge tested over 300 student innovators in engineering precision and strategy. The University of Hong Kong’s Team Sapientia claimed the championship title following a series of intense matchups. As the official home team, they will represent Hong Kong at the upcoming ABU Robocon 2026, hosted locally alongside RTHK, to compete against top teams from 15 countries and regions.
