Dr. Chai assumed the position of Chairman of Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation in July 2018. In the same year, he was awarded the Bronze Bauhinia Star (BBS) by the HKSAR Chief Executive commending his outstanding contributions to the promotion of innovation and technology development in Hong Kong, and was conferred a University Fellow by Hong Kong Polytechnic University. He was named an Honorary Fellow of City University of Hong Kong in 2022, and appointed as a Justice of the Peace in 2021. He received the Young Industrialist Award of Hong Kong in 2004.

Dr. Chai graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Rochester Institute of Technology (USA) in 1988, and completed an Executive MBA program (EMBA) at the Chinese University of Hong Kong in 2007. In 2010, he was awarded the Doctor of Engineering (EngD) from the City University of Hong Kong.

Mr. Eddie MAK is the Permanent Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

Eddie joined the Administrative Service in 1991 and has served in a number of policy bureaux and departments, including the former Information Technology and Broadcasting Bureau, the Civil Service Bureau, the Hong Kong Economic and Trade Office, Washington and the Post Office. He was Hong Kong Commissioner for Economic and Trade Affairs, USA from July 2018 to September 2021, and served as Director, Celebrations Coordination Office from January to July 2022.

MR. DONALD CHOI WUN HING

Donald has worked globally as architect and developer for over 30 years. He is familiar with both public and private projects and believes in the power of design and architecture to empower society. Clients have included Hong Kong Government, Airport Authority, Mass Transit Railway Corporation, Urban Renewal Authority, Public Works Canada, British Columbia Buildings Corporation, NGOs and the private sector.

He is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Chinachem Group. He was the Managing Director of Nan Fung Development and before Nan Fung, Director of Foster and Partners and the Authorised Person – Architect for the Hong Kong International Airport Passenger Terminal (HKIA Silver Medal Winner) and many infrastructure projects at Chek Lap Kok. The airport was awarded the Top Ten Construction Projects in the World and has won numerous awards including the Best Airport in the World since opening in 1998.

Alongside his professional career, he has held multiple leadership roles in NGOs and professional bodies that focus on design, innovation and the community. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at HKU, Trustee of Rhode Island School of Design, Advisory Committee Member of the HKTDC Infrastructure Development, Advisory Committee Member of PolyU Jockey Club Design Institute for Social Innovation, Member of HKU Campus Development and Planning Committee, President of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects, President of the Hong Kong Institute of Urban Design, and Honorary Advisor of Hong Kong Workers’ Health Centre. Donald is the Chairperson of the Construction Innovation and Technology Application Centre and also serves on the board of Habitat of Humanity Hong Kong, Hong Kong Green Building Council, Business Environment Council and Hong Kong Design Centre.

Ms. Cordelia CHUNG

Ms. Chung is a corporate leader with extensive multinational experience. Specialised in information technology, with knowledge in building industry, and trained and practised as a lawyer.

Ms. Chung spent over 20 years with IBM. She was the first Asian female executive to serve on IBM Chairman & CEO's Strategy Team, setting global directions. She held senior leadership positions including Regional General Manager for Southeast Asian countries; General Manager for IBM China/Hong Kong Limited and General Counsel for Asia Pacific.

Ms. Chung currently serves as non-executive director of Arup Group Limited and Grosvenor Asia Pacific Limited and independent non-executive director of Hang Seng Bank Limited. She is Chairperson of Maryknoll Convent School Foundation, Chairperson of her private investment company Clarksdale Investment Limited and senior consultant at law firm Raymond T.Y. Chan, Victoria Chan & Co. Ms. Chung also serves on Hong Kong Government Human Resources Planning Commission and Hong Kong Government Research Grants Council. Her past services include Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Advisory Committee, Singapore University of Technology and Design Board of Trustees, Hong Kong Polytechnic University Council, Court of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Singapore Government Economic Strategies Committee and Dalian CPPCC.

Mr. Dennis HO Chiu Ping

Dennis is the Partner of PwC. He has over 29 years extensive experience in providing assurance and transaction-related services as well as in assisting companies in preparing for listing in Hong Kong, Singapore and other stock exchanges. Dennis is frequently involved in advising and assisting local, mainland-based and multinational companies on corporate restructuring, transactions, mergers and acquisitions.

Dennis has been promoting the development of accounting profession in Hong Kong. He was the President of Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants in 2015 and he actively participates in many professional committees and statutory bodies of the Government of HKSAR. He is a member of Standing Committee on Company Law Reform, Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Appeal Board, Professional Services Advancement Support Scheme Vetting Committee and a director of Urban Renewal Fund. He is appointed by Minister of Finance of the People’s Republic of China as the Hong Kong Accounting Advisor and is a member of Election Committee of HKSAR. He was awarded as Outstanding PolyU Alumni in 2017 and serves on a number of advisory boards of universities in Hong Kong.

HEAD OF ASIA, CITI GLOBAL WEALTH

MS. ANGEL NG YIN YEE

Angel Ng is the Head of Asia for Citi Global Wealth.  She is responsible for overseeing Citi Asia’s wealth business which includes Asia Private Bank and Consumer banking franchises in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Prior to her current position, Angel was the CEO for Citi Hong Kong and Macau.  She joined Citi in 1998, since then held many senior roles include Head of Consumer Banking, Head of Wealth Management and Head of Cards. 

Prior to Citi, Angel held a number of senior positions at Procter & Gamble and China Light and Power Hong Kong.  She started her career with HSBC. 

Angel currently serves as a board or committee member of the following organizations: Financial Infrastructure and Market Development Sub-Committee under the Exchange Fund Advisory Committee; Council of the Treasury Markets Association; Vice Chairman of the Financial & Treasury Services Committee of The Hong Kong General Chamber of Commerce; and Board Advisor of Teach for Hong Kong. 

Angel holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong.
