Chief Executive of Macao SAR, Mr Ho Iat-seng, visits Hong Kong Science Park

Accompanied by The Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, Professor Sun Dong (third from left), and Commissioner for Innovation and Technology, Ms Rebecca Pun (first from left) and the Chief Executive Officer of HKSTP, Mr Albert Wong (first from right), Mr Ho Iat-seng (middle), toured the Experience Centre where the immersive sensory journey allowed the delegation to appreciate the accomplishments resulting from the local I&T ecosystem.

(Hong Kong, 25 February 2023) - The Chief Executive of the Macao Special Administrative Region (SAR), Mr Ho Iat-seng, visited Hong Kong Science Park today to learn more about the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP)’s development and achievements in innovation and technology (I&T). Members of the Macao SAR delegation included Secretary for Administration and Justice, Mr Cheong Weng Chon; Secretary for Economy and Finance, Mr Lei Wai Nong; and the Chief-of-Office of the Chief Executive's Office, Ms Hoi Lai Fong.

Mr Albert Wong, CEO of HKSTP, was delighted to meet with Mr Ho Iat-seng. He introduced HKSTP's work and promote the local I&T ecosystem to the delegation; further strengthening the ongoing collaboration between Hong Kong and Macao.

The Centre aims to accelerate the research and development of Chinese Herbal Medicine-based drugs and foster collaboration among local and international researchers, academic institutions and practitioners in Chinese medicine.
