A tiny semiconductor has a wide range of applications, and with constant advancements in electronic products, such as 5G and wireless network technologies, the microelectronics industry is rapidly developing worldwide.

Hong Kong has great potential for developing the microelectronics industry. However, achieving industrialisation requires not only strategic development but also support in terms of abundant resources, talent, and infrastructure. This support will facilitate the steady development of the microelectronics industry locally and even overseas.

The upcoming Microelectronics Centre, located in Yuen Long InnoPark and set to launch in 2024, will address these issues effectively.
