HKSTP Fully Supports Youth Development — “Summer Talent Fest x Interns’ Graduation” Brings Together Over 100 People to Jointly Celebrate the Growth of I&T Talent

(Hong Kong, August 21, 2025) – The Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks (HKSTP) hosted the “Summer Talent Fest x Interns’ Graduation” today, celebrating the successful conclusion of an eight-week summer internship programme by university students. Building upon the dynamic energy of last month's innovation and technology (I&T) event, this gathering also brought together Professor Sun Dong, Secretary for Innovation, Technology and Industry, and startup elites to witness the growth journey of Hong Kong's emerging I&T talents.
HKSTP collaborates with over 200 park companies through its various internship programmes to offer more than 450 positions each year. In addition to gaining hands-on I&T experience, students have the opportunity to participate in entrepreneurship and skills workshops, engage with industry leaders, and take part in cross-border activities such as visits to the Greater Bay Area. The professionalism and innovative thinking exhibited by these young students during their internships once again underscore the rich talent pool and boundless potential within Hong Kong's I&T ecosystem.
Looking ahead, HKSTP will persist in attracting and nurturing talent through diverse programmes, strengthening the local talent pool and further fortifying Hong Kong's status as an international I&T hub.

With our startup community has reached new heights of approximately 4,700 companies, the demand for talent is booming. The HKSAR Government will continue to work with HKSTP to enhance the local I&T ecosystem, opening more doors for young talent to excel in Hong Kong and beyond.” He also encouraged interns to join the I&T sector upon graduation and explore new possibilities together.
