HKSTP will send delegations and organise various to promote Hong Kong’s unique strengthens in innovation to enterprises and talent worldwide. HKSTP welcomes enterprises, talent and innovative ideas from all over the world to join our thriving ecosystem to explore new opportunities in Hong Kong and the GBA, realise their research to innovation journey and lead us all to a new era of growth.”

Photo 4: Mr Albert Wong, Chief Executive Officer of HKSTP said, “The Hong Kong I&T Development Blueprint establishes clear goals for the city’s innovation development, including targeting 7,000 startups in Hong Kong by 2030. HKSTP is nurturing a continuous and growing pipeline of quality start-ups, while also supporting the Hong Kong Government aims to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050. HKSTP is already on track to achieve net zero emissions by 2045 by building a climate technology ecosystem . While we also welcome and are gearing up efforts for the government vision to make Hong Kong and global green tech and finance hub.”

Photo 5: Ms Fanny Wong, Head of Talents & Human Resources of HKSTP shared, “This year, we will conduct roadshows around the world to encourage global talent to develop their careers in Hong Kong. We are also organising the “TALENT GAME ON 2K23” programme of activities to actively recruit local talent to join our ecosystem. We are also liaising with various institutions and non-profit organisations to promote Hong Kong's innovation opportunities to local university and secondary school students.”

We are enhancing our campus experience in stages, from renovating the interior and constructing a lakeside music fountain, to launching a popular "Pet Friendly Pilot Program". Our aim is to provide the working population and public with a unique and distinct Work, Live, Play, Learn culture.”

Photo 7: Mr Felix Tang, Director of Project and Development of HKSTP said, “Hong Kong's continued I&T growth and success depends on an ideal environment that enables talent to thrive today and tomorrow. To meet future demand, our “open to all” vision will see the realisation of key infrastructure such as the Ma Liu Shui reclamation development, as well as a brand new Innocell, plus further expansion of the current Science Park facilities.” 

Photo 8: Ir Dr H.L. Yiu, Head of Re-Industrialisation of HKSTP said, “The city has enormous potential in further development its microelectronics industry. We are constructing a Microelectronics Centre in the Yuen Long InnoPark, which is expected to be ready in 2024 and will provide the industry with advanced manufacturing facilities. With an overall occupancy rate of 94% across the three InnoParks, we will make the best use of our valuable land resources by selecting new business partners in accordance with the eight Innofacturing Guiding Principles.”

Eye-opening tech was on display to see, feel and to taste! From the delicious dishes incorporating our park companies’ produce served at the lunch, to the cutting-edge AI applications, food and health technologies – all innovated, designed or manufactured in Hong Kong.
