HKSTP Parades the Power of Partnership Connecting Intelligence and Industries with AI and Robotics
(Hong Kong, 25 March 2026) – Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) successfully concluded the ‘Connect Intelligence: AI & Robotics Across Industries,’ where the event brought over 200 industry leaders and investors to 30 tech ventures during the parade of developments in artificial intelligence, as well as infinite potential.
Spanning across categories including Connected Operations, Customer Experience, Decision Intelligence, Digital Health, and Safety & Security, a total of 30 tech ventures showcased their innovative solutions addressing a wide range of technological challenges with alternatives. Apart from the line-up open to all tech enthusiasts, attention was drawn to an AI workshop organised by ByteDance, and guided tours to Smart Tech, in particular, offering in-depth insights into market-ready projects. All contributing to securing potential additions of the 500 partnerships currently in the works in both private and public sectors.
Eric Or, Chief of Ecosystem Development Officer of HKSTP, said “We value “exposure” greatly—exposure to knowledge, to network, to opportunities, those are what we wish to enable access to for tech companies, big or small, to not miss a chance when it presents itself. That was one of the reasons why we send delegations overseas, for market exploration, value creation, hence, growth.”
The notion was echoed by the panel discussions focusing on the positioning and prospects of AI, where industry leaders from local entities committing their cause to technological advancements, put the endless possibilities into perspective. Where Janice Sue Wong, Senior Vice President – AI & Innovation Strategy of Nan Fung Group, stated “Bringing together like-minded industry peers, as well as visionary founder from emerging startups, helps our innovation journey in exploring new ideas and collaboration opportunities.”
Tim Leung, member of the Board of Directors of HKSTP, said “AI represents a once-in-a-generation shift—a general-purpose technology that will fundamentally reshape every business and daily experience. To capture this opportunity, we are committed to strengthening support and connectivity within the local I&T ecosystem, positioning the city as one of the most vibrant innovation hubs in Asia. And this event embodies that mission, in fostering cross-sector co-creation.”
Attracted major attention from within and beyond the industries, the event served as a beacon to the current AI and robotics development, and a voice for what is on the lookout for the near future to come that digital transformation is inevitable and imminent.
