It began with a group of engineers and entrepreneurs geeking out over one big idea: what if robots could move the world? Founded in 2015, Geek+ blends a passion for technology (“geek”) with a drive to transform (“+”) traditional industries. Their mission? To fix the inefficiencies of rigid warehouse systems – slow processes, rising labor costs, and inflexible automation – by using mobile robots to deliver faster, smarter, and more scalable logistics in an age of booming e-commerce.
Geek+ has been ranked the world's largest provider of warehouse fulfillment autonomous mobile robotics (AMR) solutions, a position it has maintained for six consecutive years*. Operating in 40+ countries, they’ve deployed approximately 56,000 robots to serve 800+ global enterprise clients as of December 31, 2024. These robots support more than 5,000 devices simultaneously within a single warehouse. In 2022 alone, the company’s goods-to-person robots picked 10 billion items and travelled 175 million kilometres – farther than the distance from Earth to the Sun. By automating item retrieval, they saved 17,000 hours of manual labor and cut 140,000 tons of carbon emissions. Whether achieving 99.9987% picking accuracy or tripling storage capacity with high-density racking, Geek+ is reshaping warehouses into smart, collaborative spaces where people and robots work better together. This innovation has also made it the largest H-share IPO by a robotics company to date.
Their impact continues to grow through partnerships with global giants like top American clothing distributor S&S Activewear, rapidly expanding across five U.S. sites since 2023 and deploying over 2,200 Geek+ robots. This showcases just how powerfully Geek+’s innovative solutions can boost operational efficiency and growth for global customers.
In Hong Kong, they’ve helped build robotic e-commerce warehouses with YesAsia, an online-retailer, boosting picking efficiency by up to 300%. In 2024, they unveiled the world’s first Vision Only Robot Solution equipped with the Intel® Visual Navigation Modules. This breakthrough enables precise navigation and obstacle avoidance in complex warehouse environments. With a 70% customer repurchase rate, Geek+ has clearly earned the trust of the global logistics community.
“Keeping up means empowering people and industries by solving today’s challenges hand in hand with the autonomous mobile robot solutions of tomorrow,” shared the Geek+ team.
As Geek+ marks its 10th anniversary, the company is charging ahead with ambitious plans. Its Hong Kong R&D team continues to innovate at the heart of Asia’s logistics hub, leveraging the region’s infrastructure, talent, and connectivity to scale globally.
