HKSTP Experience Centre Art Tech Project Debut
MAN-MADE: The Convergence of Chinese Culture and Modern Technology
While art and culture have always been core to the human existence, technology has rapidly become a significant modern force in shaping the way we live. This year’s Art Tech project, “MAN-MADE,” features a selection of art pieces from six Chinese artists. Each piece leverages contemporary tech in reimagining traditional art forms and aesthetics, expressing the depth of Chinese classical artistic traditions and philosophies while stretching what’s possible with the application of modern digital techniques. The result is a multi-sensory artistic exploration that enriches our ties to our past and through it, our cultural identity; it is at once a nod to our roots and a glimpse into our tech-driven future.
