Abstract

Organised by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, “Think Global, Think Hong Kong” in Tokyo, Japan is a promotion campaign that aims to attract overseas companies to use Hong Kong as a platform to enter the mainland and global markets.

HKSTP hosted two plenary sessions titled “Smart City ABCD” and “Inno Living, Happy Ageing: Healthy Ageing Technology Trends in Hong Kong” at the event, while 8 of our partner companies, namely Belun Technology,Blue Fire AI, Fano Labs, GemVcare, Health View Bioanalytic, Longenesis, Sanomics and SenseTime showcased their latest R&D achievements and innovation for potential Japanese business leaders, entrepreneurs, finance and academia sectors.

Hong Kong is a preeminent gateway for overseas companies to enter the Chinese market, it also acts as an ideal platform for R&D ideas exchange. We strive to nurture local technology talents by providing startups with comprehensive services and support.

 

Highlights

Concurrently, HKSTP signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mizuho Financial Group to establish a collaborative framework that dedicates value-added services to start-ups.
