The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will take its mega promotion campaign, “Think Business, Think Hong Kong”, to Paris to bring together business leaders from Hong Kong and France to discuss the latest developments and opportunities in Asia’s new economy and across diverse sectors, including green finance, sustainability, innovation and technology, and more.

HKSTP is excited to be once again a Hong Kong Partner to host a thematic session namely “Unlocking Asia’s Opportunities in Healthcare Innovation”. Biotech and healthcare innovation continue to boom as governments and businesses rally around the world to address global health issues.  From aging population, critical and chronic diseases, to improving access to healthcare and urgent transformation of primary healthcare systems, Asia’s diverse mix of developed and developing nations is creating a perfect storm of healthcare innovation opportunities. 

 In this session, our CEO Mr Albert Wong and leaders from the research community and fast-rising biotech ventures will discuss the exciting innovation potential in the huge health markets across Asia. Topics range from the future of cancer research to the growing area of intestinal biology and the human microbiome, plus Hong Kong’s rise as a world-leading biotech R&D and IPO hub and role as a launchpad to North Asia and SE Asia opportunities.

We will also present a HKSTP Pavilion at the InnoVenture Salon alongside the symposium to showcase our promising Hong Kong healthcare innovations and achievement to the world.
