Hong Kong Science Park
Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (“HKSTP”) held a Construction Commencement Ceremony for the InnoCell, the on-site residential building aimed at providing working space-cum-temporary accommodations for Park companies and incubatees working at Hong Kong Science Park. The Hon Mrs Carrie Lam, Chief Executive of the HKSAR Government, was the guest-of-honour, along with a number of senior government officials and senior management of HKSTP.
To further advance innovation within the construction industry, HKSTP and the Construction Industry Council (CIC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding at the same event. Specifically, HKSTP and CIC will collaborate in various areas on the development and adoption of construction robotics and automation systems.
Highlights

Mr Albert Wong, CEO, HKSTP (left) and Mr Albert Cheng, Executive Director, CIC (right) signed an MOU to accelerate the adoption of I&T in the construction sector, with a focus on construction robotics and automation systems.
Mrs Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor, Chief Executive, HKSAR and senior government officials were accompanied by Dr Sunny Chai, Chairman, HKSTP, and Mr Simon Wong, Chief Project Development Officer, HKSTP, to visit the InnoCell prototypes.
