              Abstract

              Hong Kong grapples with an aging population.  It is an evolving trend to drive broader high-touch gerontechnology and innovation adoption in tackling critical aging population challenges. As the city’s largest I&T ecosystem, HKSTP continues to provide support across the translational journey of gerontech for companies at different development stages. At Gerontech and Innovation Expo cum Summit (GIES) 2023, we rally our 50 trailblazing Gerontech partner companies to showcase cutting-edge solutions and applications.

              • Discover the breadth of Gerontech solutions across 7 critical categories including Rehabilitation & Cognitive Care, Fall Risk Management & Anti-wandering, Tech-Enabled Care, Vital Sign Monitoring, Health Screening, Sensory Aids, Service Operation.
              • Visit 'Rehab@Home' thematic zone, where “Gerontech Ambassadors” comprising physiotherapy students from Tung Wah College and elderly individuals from Lingnan University’s Elder Academy will demonstrate the vast potential of scaling smart rehab tech from institutions to homes.
              • Be inspired by our sharing session of “Social Service + I&T: AI? Data?” on the first day of the exhibition, where HKSTP and social service therapists will share the successful case study to showcase how gerontech catalyses NGO Service Development
