Prof. Liu Yun-hui, Director, T Stone Robotics Institute; Choh-Ming Li Professor of Mechanical and Automation Engineering, CUHK made a sharing on robotic solution for construction and interior decoration.
Leading companies in the industry, start-ups from Hong Kong Science Park and university’s research centre also showcased various innovative technologies and solutions they developed for the construction industry, including hybrid reality platform, mobile robot platform and an AI-powered predictive inspection system.
(Hong Kong, 3 July 2019) – Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) and the Construction Industry Council (CIC) today hosted the first International Symposium on Construction Robotics at Hong Kong Science Park.
Bringing together experts, leading industry players and academics, the Symposium discussed the most recent topics and technologies that are transforming the construction industry, such as robotics, automation systems and smart construction techniques. Various innovative technologies and solutions for the construction industry developed by leading companies in the industry, Science Park start-ups and the research centre of Chinese University of Hong Kong were also showcased.
