HKSTP is thrilled to present to the globe our vibrant I&T eco-system at the Hong Kong Pavilion in the upcoming LEAP 2024 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, one of the world’s hottest new tech events. Seeing the huge collaboration opportunity emerged with the Middle East rising to the world stage as a real hotbed of entrepreneurial potential, there will be meaningful synergies between the two regions with Hong Kong being a growing innovation powerhouse as part of the Greater Bay Area in China.

Hong Kong’s I&T sector has thrived in recent times, bolstered by record government support, national endorsement by China’s leadership and multiple global awards and recognition for Hong Kong’s rising tech stars in 2023. This latest city pavilion will feature some of Hong Kong’s brightest innovation and talent and further demonstrate the technological strengths that the city brings to the international stage and solidify the city as a gateway to the Greater Bay Area.

Under the theme "Into New Worlds", HKSTP is co-organising with Cyberport the first-ever Hong Kong Pavilion at LEAP 2024. 8 of our Science Park tech ventures will demonstrate how their state-of-the-art developments in biotech, healthtech, AI, robotics, logistics, and new energy benefit mankind . With over 1,000 exhibitors and more than 172,000 participants from upwards of 183 countries attending the event, the Hong Kong Pavilion demonstrates how Hong Kong's trailblazing technologies create real-world impact, and how our city supports global tech leaders, investors, and entrepreneurs in their expansion within the Greater Bay Area, across Asia, and around the globe.

HKSTP will also convene a panel sharing moderated by our CEO Mr Albert Wong, with panelists from the healthtech community to explore upcoming and ongoing transformative innovations in the sector and Hong Kong's critical contributions to pioneering global healthtech advancements.
