HKSTP Park Companies Scoop Multiple Awards at Hong Kong ICT Awards 2021

(Hong Kong, 7 January 2022) – Partner companies and incubatees from the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) scooped a total of 27 awards at the Hong Kong ICT Awards 2021. Highlights included Yee Fung Technology Limited which took home the Smart Mobility Grand Award and Smart Mobility (Smart Transport) Gold Award, as well as D-Engraver Limited, Eats365 Hong Kong Limited and Appcider Limited which all won Gold Awards in their respective categories.

Yee Fung Technology specialises in developing smart parking solutions and has picked up two awards with its "Hong Kong Science Park Building 17W19W Robotic Parking System". Smart mobility is a key area of smart city development and is crucial to creating a more convenient, safer and more efficient environment for citizens under the new normal. The novel robotic parking system integrates cutting-edge technologies including AI, robotics & sensors, automatic EV charging, as well as Robotic Parking System App, providing a solution to address the limited parking space issue and is facilitating a more convenient, space-efficient and safer parking experience. It is the first trialled robotic system in Hong Kong which demonstrates enormous potential for future growth and mass adoption, contributing to the city’s long-term smart city ambitions. 

An HKSTP incubatee, D-Engraver Limited won Gold Award in the ICT Startup (Software and Apps) category with its blockchain-powered “HashTag/HashSign” solution that traces diversified ID with complete business flow to identify and notarize with remote digital signature, then store and roll-back historical data on blockchain. Partner Company Eats365 Hong Kong Limited, collected Gold Award in the Smart Business (Solution for SME) category by developing a futuristic F&B platform and ecosystem that helps restaurants to simplify business management, increase staff productivity, boost efficiency and improve patrons’ experiences through innovative new technologies. Another Partner Company Appcider Limited also collected the Gold Award in the Smart Mobility (Smart Logistics) category with its one-stop smart logistics platform “ShipAny” that connects local and overseas courier services with merchants and allows merchants to enjoy a highly efficient and automated logistics experience with just one single account.

The Hong Kong ICT Awards was established in 2006 with the collaborative efforts of the industry, academia and the Government. Steered by the Office of the Government Chief Information Officer, and organised by Hong Kong ICT industry associations and professional bodies, the Awards aims at recognising and promoting outstanding information and communications technology (ICT) inventions and applications, thereby encouraging innovation and excellence among Hong Kong’s ICT talents and enterprises in their constant pursuit of creative and better solutions to meet business and social needs.
