To advance high‑quality development in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area and deepen I&T collaboration between Hong Kong and Shenzhen, the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) will co‑host the “Greater Together": Hetao‑Hong Kong Youth Innovation Hub Launch Ceremony with the Hetao Development Authority.

Under the “One Ecosystem, Two Locations” framework, the Hong Kong Science Park serves as the core platform operating across two connected locations — Hong Kong and Shenzhen. The Hong Kong Science Park Shenzhen Branch plays a strategic role in bridging Hong Kong’s international research strengths with Shenzhen’s comprehensive industrial ecosystem and market scale. Over recent years, the model has matured into an effective dual‑location approach: the Hong Kong headquarters and the Shenzhen Branch operate as a unified system, sharing resources, complementing capabilities, and accelerating cross‑boundary development.

The Shenzhen Branch has also played a demonstrative role in regulatory alignment and institutional connectivity, further strengthening cross‑boundary acceleration for companies and research projects. This has supported the commercialisation of research outcomes, facilitated deeper integration of the innovation, industry, talent and capital chains of both cities, and enhanced support for enterprises accessing opportunities across the Greater Bay Area and global markets. It has become an important exemplar of cross‑boundary collaboration under “One Country, Two Systems.”

At the “Greater Together”: Hetao‑Hong Kong Youth Innovation Hub Launch Ceremony, HKSTP will present recent milestones and the next phase of development under the “One Ecosystem, Two Locations” framework. We will officially launch the Hetao‑Hong Kong Youth Innovation Hub and introduce the “Go Global” service platform, including the TecONE 1-on-1 consultation services, a Go Global Programme, and a Strategic Ecosystem Connectivity Network. These initiatives provide comprehensive, end‑to‑end support to enterprises, facilitate the efficient flow of innovation resources, and further strengthen the collaborative I&T ecosystem between Hong Kong and Shenzhen.
