Clubhouse Summer Water Carnival

EVENT RULES & REGULATIONS

• Only event ticket holders are allowed to enter Science Park Clubhouse and enjoy the pool activities, inflatable games and game booths in the purchased session.
• Both adults and children are required to purchase tickets.
• Children under 12 years old must be supervised by their parent or adult with a valid event ticket.
• A maximum of 2 children under 12 years old is permitted per parent or adult who hold a valid event ticket.
• All tickets sold are non-refundable (except when the event is cancelled due to inclement weather before the event starts) [please refer to Event Arrangements Under Inclement Weather Conditions], non-transferrable and cannot be changed to another date or session.
• One locker in the changing room will be assigned to each adult with a valid event ticket.
• The last admission time is 45 minutes before the end of the purchased session.
• Participants must wear appropriate clothing, swimwear is required for the swimming pool activities and inflatable games. Only white shirts are allowed if participant would like to wear a shirt in the swimming pool.
• Participants must follow the instructions by the onsite staff.

TICKET INFORMATION

• A maximum of 8 tickets can be purchased by every Science Park Partner Companies’ staff (the Science Park Partner Companies’ staff must be one of the participants).
• To purchase tickets, please fill out the registration form. All registrations will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis. Once the quota is full, applicants will be placed on a waiting list. (Note: filling out the registration form does not mean that you have successfully purchased the ticket).
• Within 2 working days after submitting the registration form, you will receive a confirmation email from the Science Park Clubhouse with the total fees and payment information. If you have not received an email within 2 working days after submitting the form, it means that your application has been placed on the waiting list.
• If you have successfully registered and settled payment at the Clubhouse before payment deadline, you will receive a successful ticket purchase confirmation email from the Science Park Clubhouse within 2 working days.
• If you haven’t settled payment before payment deadline, you will be regarded as having forfeited your right of ticket purchase without further notice. The forfeited tickets will be given to the waitlisted participants according to the registration form submission priority.

WARM REMINDERS

• Clubhouse is equipped with changing rooms and shower rooms.
• Lockers are available in the changing rooms. It is advisable not to store valuable items in the lockers.
• It is recommended to bring a small waterproof pouch for your mobile phone.

EVENT ARRANGEMENTS UNDER INCLEMENT WEATHER CONDITIONS

The above arrangements for inclement weather conditions are for reference only. The final arrangements will be determined by the organiser on event day. Participants will be contacted by email / phone.

If the organiser announces cancellation before the event starts due to inclement weather conditions, refund will be processed, Clubhouse will notify participants about within one week by email.

If the organiser announces cancellation one hour before the end of the session due to inclement weather conditions, no refund will be arranged.

Health & Safety Advice

• Participants must ensure that their physical health is suitable for participating in this event. The organiser reserves the right to refuse entry to any participant whose physical condition is not suitable for the activity, if there is reasonable suspicion, and relevant parties must accept the organiser's decision.
• Under hot weather, participants should prepare enough drinking water and sunscreen, and take rest when necessary.
• Participants understand and agree that the activity is voluntary, and they are willing to assume all risks and responsibilities, and have no right to claim compensation or pursue liability from the organiser for any injuries, accidents, deaths, or any form of loss that may occur during the transportation to and from the activity venue or during the activity, or for any other reason.

Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation reserves the final right to modify event details, any of the terms and conditions without prior notice. If any disputes, Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation’s decision will be final.
