Voltage-dip mitigation
• Reduce the chance of shut-in-lift (lift entrapment) as a consequence of voltage dips;
• A voltage dip of over 200ms will cause the Variable Frequency Drive (VFD) to trip, which brings the lift car to a stop. (Only 6% of voltage dips occur within 200ms, meaning 94% of voltage dips will cause the lift to stop);
• Our device LiftSmart is designed to buffer at least 1000ms voltage dip. (safeguarded 93% of voltage dips occurrence);
• Energy stored in the super capacitor can compensate for voltage loss within a split second during the dip; hence, the lift would not even stop and pause if the dip is even within our designed tolerance

Energy savings (ESG)
• Turn waste heat energy in the braking system into usable electricity energy in lift operations;
• Estimated to save 20% to 30% of energy consumed by the lift

Floor levelling enabler
• Act as an "Automatic Rescue Device" which exists in the market as a standalone device;
• In case of lift entrapment, the lift will be levelled to a position of the nearest floor, with the last reserve of the emergency power system kicking in. It will ease the rescue effort and significantly reduce the risk of casualties

One-Box Solution
• Our device will combine all the above functions into a One-Box solution;
• It aims to cope with the space constraints which the lifts may have, since these functions were not in the original design

AI Self-Learning on Energy Management
• Energy allocation threshold in the Programmable Logic Controller (PLC): thresholds are defined for how much capacity is reserved for floor levelling, how much capacity is reserved for voltage mitigation etc.
• A self-learning logic is to be developed, based on individual lift installed, defining the optimal threshold after big data is collected on the power supply quality and behaviour. There are several factors contributing to the confidence level, such as the age of the lift and its maintenance quality, geographical region (different
power supply chains), age of the neighbourhood (how other users use the energy within the same network)

Technology

We specialise in providing tailored solutions to address the specific challenges faced by our clients. Our offerings include systems for remote battery capacity detection and monitoring, electric vehicle (EV) charging, uninterruptible power supply (UPS), industrial and commercial energy storage, as well as advanced voltage dip mitigation solutions.

These solutions are designed with scalability and adaptability in mind, ensuring their suitability across various industries and applications, from residential and commercial buildings to industrial facilities.
