Micro-LED technology uses self-emitting micron-scale LEDs as pixel units and assembles them on a driving backplane to form a high-density LED array, that is, LED miniaturisation and matrix technology. The integration of high-density, small-sized LED arrays is the result of thinning and miniaturising the LEDs. Each pixel is usually less than 50μm with individual addressing and driving to emit light.
