ReCube is committed to addressing the environmental challenges caused by single-use tableware through innovative circular economy solutions, with a focus on reusable tableware rental services.
Originating from Hong Kong and founded by a youth-led entrepreneurial team, ReCube provides an integrated service covering reusable tableware rental, collection and washing, event support, and waste reduction data tracking. Its operations are supported by a smart borrowing and return system, tableware circulation management, and user incentive mechanisms. To date, the team has expanded to 42+ partner dining and service locations across the Greater Bay Area, supported 90+ large-scale events and institutional projects, including the Hong Kong competition region of the National Games, Oxfam Trailwalker, and Ocean Park Hong Kong, reduced over 90,000 pieces of single-use tableware and packaging waste, and maintained an approximately 98% tableware return rate. These results demonstrate the feasibility of reusable tableware solutions in high-traffic and high-turnover scenarios.
Building on its Hong Kong market experience, ReCube will further leverage the Greater Bay Area’s strengths in supply chain resources, technological innovation, and green low-carbon industries to expand into mainland China’s catering, business park, exhibition, and large-scale event sectors. The team aims to promote the implementation of circular dining infrastructure across the Greater Bay Area, contributing to urban waste reduction, ESG practices, and the green transformation of the food and beverage industry.
