From innovative ideas to real-life solutions.
Organised by the Innovation and Technology Commission together with its organising partner Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), the City I&T Grand Challenge invites creative and innovative ideas to help transform the future of Hong Kong through innovations and technologies.
Local and non-local contestants from primary schools, secondary schools and universities / tertiary institutes and different walks of life have contributed creative solutions for a more sustainable Hong Kong, and better social connectivity during the pandemic.
Twenty-five winning solutions from university / tertiary institute and open group are further supported by mentorship opportunities and R&D resources by government departments, public organisations and HKSTP to optimise the ideas and translate them into functional prototypes.
During the 9-day Showcase, you will have a chance to explore and experience these winning solutions first hand, including sensor through sweat, edible cutlery, food waste management system, AI health monitoring app and many more. You may share your user experience to the innovators to help them enhance the capability and flexibility of their solutions.
