Clubhouse Membership Application Terms & Conditions

1. Clubhouse Membership Programme

1.1 The Clubhouse Membership Programme (the "Programme") is offered by Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (the "HKSTP") to eligible members (as defined by clause 2.1) and is subject to the following terms and conditions (the "Terms & Conditions"). HKSTP has absolute discretion to amend these terms and conditions without prior notice.

1.2 Members must acknowledge and consent to the Terms and Conditions of the Programme and agree with HKSTP's discretion on amending the Terms and Conditions at any time.

2. Eligibility and Membership

2.1 Science Park Partner Companies’ Staff is eligible to be an official member of the Programme ("Official Member ") upon completing the membership fee payment and after all required information is successfully submitted and verified in the application form via the HKSTP mobile app (the "Mobile App").

2.2 Membership Tier
There are two tiers of Memberships: Gold and Silver. Each member can hold only one Membership at a time.

2.3 Each applicant is entitled to one membership account. Each membership account can only be used by the applicant. Members must not offer or allow others to use their account information. Membership accounts are nontransferable.

2.4 Applicants must ensure that the information they submit for member registration is authentic, accurate, complete, not misleading and without any fraud. Applicants may need to present the ID document(s) specified by HKSTP for registration and verification. If applicants cannot provide the required documents, their application will not be accepted.

2.5 Members are required to download the Mobile App to view member news, renew their membership, and to enjoy member privileges, offers, rewards and other benefits.

2.6 HKSTP and Clubhouse’s staff shall have the right to request a member to present a valid ID document to verify the member information shown in their Mobile App at any time.

2.7 HKSTP reserves the right to terminate any membership generally without notice and reasons, including cases where a member uses any account that belongs to another person, or is found to be dishonest in their application for membership or the exercise of member privileges.

2.8 Membership is non-transferable. Members should keep their membership numbers, passwords and personal information strictly confidential and secure. Members are fully responsible for any use of their accounts by any other person (with or without the member's authorization).

3. General

3.1 HKSTP reserves the right to change, terminate or suspend the Programme, or to amend these Terms and Conditions, at any time without the need or obligation to give notice. The Company may (but is not obligated to) notify members in advance if the Programme will be terminated or suspended, or if the Terms and Conditions have been updated.

3.2 HKSTP’s failure to enforce certain terms or conditions does not mean that HKSTP waives those terms or conditions.

3.3 All issues or disputes arising from participation eligibility are at the sole discretion of HKSTP.

3.4 By participating in the membership programme, you agree to be bound and to abide by Clubhouse General Rules & Regulations.

3.5 HKSTP may notify members of updates to the Terms and Conditions or other information via SMS, Mobile App push notifications, email, or post, and may also post a notice on https://www.hkstp.org/zh-hk/our-community/park-life/clubhouse/.

3.6 All terms are governed and regulated by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.

3.7 Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation reserves the final right to modify event details, any of the terms and conditions without prior notice. If any disputes, Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation’s decision will be final.

3.8 All Terms and Conditions are written in English and may be translated into other languages. In the case of any discrepancy, the English version shall prevail, and it shall be executed according to the English version.

Clubhouse General Rules & Regulations

1. The Clubhouse is for exclusive use and enjoyment of Club members. Guests will be admitted to Clubhouse only if they are accompanied by members and members should accompany their guests at all times in Clubhouse.
   
   
2. Children aged below 12 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or above at all times to use the Club facilities.
   
   
3. Members must be fully liable for their acts and omissions and those of their guests or children. Members and their guests / children shall be liable for all costs, expenses and liabilities whatsoever arising from (whether directly or indirectly) such acts or omissions.
   
   
4. Each member may bring along a maximum of 4 guests at one time for using the club facilities (specified facilities are exempted).
   
   
5. Clubhouse reserves the right to restrict the admission of any members or guests who are considered disturbing or endangering others and request them to leave.
   
   
6. All bookings and payment are handled via our Facilities Booking System
   (specified facilities are exempted). Please refer to the Clubhouse Facilities Fees Table for details. All bookings are based on "first-come-first-served" basis. No change, cancellation or refund is acceptable once the booking is confirmed.
   
   
7. All members and their guests should wear proper clothing. Clubhouse reserves the right to refuse member or guest who has not met the dressing requirements of Clubhouse.
   
   
8. Please keep the Club clean and quiet.
   
   
9. No pets are allowed to enter the Clubhouse premises.
   
   
10. Eating (designated areas are exempted), gambling or smoking is prohibited in Clubhouse premises.
    
    
11. Please do not move any Club’s decorations, equipment and facilities. Members are fully responsible for any loss or damage of decorations, equipment and facilities caused by themselves or their guests.
    
    
12. Please take care of the Club facilities and respect other's privacy and their equal rights to enjoying the facilities.
    
    
13. No photo shooting, video or voice recording is allowed inside the Club premises unless approved by Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation.
    
    
14. Only instructors approved and appointed by the Clubhouse are allowed to provide courses to members or their guests.
    
    
15. The Club reserves the right to temporarily close the facilities for other activities organised by the Club or any cleaning, maintenance and repair works without prior notice.
    
    
16. Clubhouse may be closed due to the inclement weather. Please refer to Club notice or contact Clubhouse’s staff for enquiry.
    
    
17. Members or their guests are responsible for their own personal properties and belongings. HKSTP will not be liable for any loss or damage to any personal properties and belongings.
    
    
18. Clubhouse will not be liable for any accidents and personal injuries which may occur through the use of the facilities inside the Club premises.
    
    
19. Clubhouse reserves the right to amend the general rules & regulations of the Club from time to time without prior notice.
    
    

All Terms and Conditions are written in English and may be translated into other languages. In the case of any discrepancy, the English version shall prevail, and it shall be executed according to the English version.
