HKSTP Congratulates Partner Company Geekplus on Successful Listing on HKEX Main Board Pioneering a New Era of Intelligent Warehousing with Cutting-Edge Robotics Technology

(Hong Kong, 9 July 2025) — Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) extends its sincere congratulations to its partner company, Beijing Geekplus Technology Co., Ltd. (Geekplus) (Stock Code: 2590.HK), a global leader in warehouse robotics technologies and solutions, on its successful listing today on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (HKEX). This initial public offering (IPO) raised a total of approximately HKD2.545 billion and marks the largest H-share IPO by a robotics company to date, as well as the most substantial non-“A+H” technology IPO in Hong Kong this year.
During his speech, Mr Yong Zheng, Founder, Chairman and CEO of Geekplus, said, “Since its inception, Geekplus has remained steadfast in its mission to redefine global supply chain efficiency through robotic intelligence. Our listing on the international capital markets marks a significant milestone and represents the beginning of a new chapter driven by the twin engines of capital and technology. Looking ahead, we will continue to capitalise on the substantial market opportunities arising from the rapid development of our industry, fuelled by technological innovation to extend our global strategic footprint. We aspire to establish robotics as the foundational infrastructure of the modern era, enabling a smarter, more efficient and more sustainable future for the world.”
Mr Albert Wong, CEO of HKSTP, said, “HKSTP is delighted to witness partner company Geekplus selecting Hong Kong as its base for expansion, fully capitalising on the city’s strengths in fundraising, business development, research and development, and talent. Geekplus’ successful global expansion and ascent to industry leadership exemplify how enterprises can leverage Hong Kong as a strategic springboard to go global. We look forward to seeing more mainland enterprises follow suit, reinforcing Hong Kong’s role as a leading international innovation and technology hub.”
As a global pioneer in intelligent automation, Geekplus has independently developed a proprietary large-scale multi-robot hybrid scheduling system, capable of supporting the coordinated operation of over 5,000 devices simultaneously within a single warehouse. This system has extensive practical implementation experience and forms a critical core technology for addressing the complexities of ultra-large warehouse environments.
With its proven technical excellence and commercial viability, Geekplus has been ranked the world’s largest provider of warehouse fulfillment autonomous mobile robotics (AMR) solutions for six consecutive years. The company offers the industry's most comprehensive portfolio of solutions and the largest global customer base. As of 2024, Geekplus had established its presence in over 40 countries and regions, serving more than 800 global enterprise clients and holds a leadership position in sectors such as third-party logistics (3PL), retail, and e-commerce.
Looking ahead, Geekplus will continue championing its mission of “Smart Logistics for a Better World” by pioneering new frontiers in robotics innovation. Through deep collaboration with global partners, Geekplus will harness the transformative power of robotics to ignite a smarter, more connected future for all.
