iDM2 provides intensive training in market analysis, market positioning, meeting accreditation criteria and IP application. It fast tracks your startup’s production and helps you achieve commercial viability without delay. Through iDM2, harness the innovation momentum and production prowess of the Greater Bay Area. Learn from industry leaders on how to optimize your product design and reduce manufacturing costs.

Through iDM2, you will:
- Attend Design for Manufacturing (DFM) training workshops and Greater Bay Area workshops with leading manufacturers and industry giants;
- Enjoy professional consultations with experts from 10 manufacturing fields;
- Learn how to translate design into a finished product and reduce development costs;
- Create a sound business plan that covers market identification, intellectual property and accreditation requirements;
- Access state of the art manufacturing facilities in the greater bay area;

How Do I Apply for iDM2?
In order to apply for the iDM2 program, you need to:
- Be one of HKSTP’s incubatees, partner companies, Sci-Tech Challenge candidates, or FHKI STAR Programme candidates.
- Have 2 representatives to be eligible for enrollment
