HKSTP Provides Fourth Round of Rental Relief Measures to Tenants, Incubatees and RFB operators

15 Feb 2022

(Hong Kong, 15 February 2022) – Further to the recent announcement by the HKSAR government to launch the sixth round of the “Anti-epidemic Fund”, Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) today rolled out a fourth round of rental relief measures to support tenants, incubatees and retail, food & beverage (RFB) operators to weather the new challenges brought by the latest wave of COVID-19 infections.

The latest rental relief measures will come as a 75% rental concession capped at 5,000 square feet of rental space for a period of six months, effective from 1 April 2022 to 30 September 2022 (“Relief Period”).  Such measures will be offered to all existing tenants and RFB operators in Science Park, InnoCentre and INNOPARKs. For all HKSTP incubatees actively participating in the incubation programmes during the Relief Period, they will be provided with a one-off special grant of HK$37,500.

Albert Wong, CEO of HKSTP, said, “The epidemic continues to disrupt the livelihoods of our communities across the city. During this difficult period, HKSTP is committed to continuing our I&T journey by rallying our resources to strengthen support for tenants and incubatees, who have all helped forge the I&T ecosystem in Hong Kong and create the backbone for the city’s long term economic success.”
