Levobio Ltd. is being established in Hong Kong offering superior novel medical and dental
materials technologies and solutions, using the principle of biomimetic and bioinspired, in the
design of non-harmful, such as “BPA-free” and “heavy-metal-free” resin-based materials for
dental and medical use. These materials are proven in safety with high efficiency, reduced the potential health risk such as caused by BPA. Initially, Levobio Ltd.will sell to various dental clinics and dental materials manufacturers.
A novel BPA-free monomer was synthesized by our team in order to substituted Bis-GMA in resin composite in dental and medical materials.
This monomer could be used as dental cavity filling with nanoparticles, chopped glass fibres for restorative dentistry, a customer made long glass fibres for the root canal post
and tooth splints, and multi-fibres for the cranial facial reconstruction.
