Establised in 1946, the Hohenstein Institute carries out testing, certification and research in the field of textiles - all under one roof. Activities in Science Park:
Testing and research in the field of chemical textile analysis and fastness testing as well as examinations of physical properties of textile products and fabrics in order to demonstrate the compliance of these products with international standards and industry requirements. Hohenstein is specialized in developing new test methods to proof claim of textile performance in various segments. Ongoing improvement of the efficiency for chemical testing methods is also one of the targets of Hohenstein Institute.
