Purpose of the team

Institute for Translational Research (ITR) is providing research translation platforms as well as talent and education programmes to help the technology translation and commercialization and to groom I&T talents with entrepreneurial mindsets and technology commercialization skills.  In view of the rapid expansion and continuous growth of the ITR, this candidate will assist Manager under ITR (Education) team in the following duties:

 

The Position

  • Handle operation and administrative works of talent development programmes including clerical paper works, subsidies reimbursement requests etc.;
  • Take part in pre-event, post-event and on-site support for training workshops and events for the talent development programmes;
  • Provide operation and administrative support for different events, projects or initiatives related to talent development; and
  • Perform other duties assigned by the management as appropriate.

 

The Candidate

  • University graduate in Business, Science, Engineering or related discipline;
  • Preferably with relevant work experience in education / learning programme administration and operation; Fresh graduate will also be considered;
  • Experience in working with academic institutions and NGOs would be an advantage;
  • Proactive team player with good problem-solving skills, pleasant and outgoing with good communication and interpersonal management skills across the Corporation and with outside partners;
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint; and
  • Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese.
