Purpose of the Role

HKSTP is establishing a Philanthropic Advisory Team (Fundraising) to engage philanthropists, charities, and corporations to build a more vibrant innovation and technology ecosystem to deliver social and economic benefits to Hong Kong and the region, and to build a future abundant with innovation opportunities for the younger generations.

The Team works closely with the entire Corporation to develop fundraising strategy and plans and organize outreach activities. It advises interested donors in donation planning and reaching their philanthropic goals with great social impact through various HKSTP platforms and programs.


The Position

  • Provide administrative support to the work of Philanthropic Advisory Team in soliciting donation and managing donor relations
  • Conduct research on individuals, companies and I&T development and compile relevant reports and analyses
  • Organize tours, visits, and engagement activities to promote the mission and work of the Corporation
  • Contribute to preparation of documents, reports, and marketing materials
  • Administer the donation data systems and work with various internal parties to maintain the information inflow and proper use of the data
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisors


The Candidate

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, business administration or other related disciplines
  • With 1-2 years of relevant working experience, preferably gained in sizable companies
  • A team player with proactive and outgoing personality, detail and result oriented mindset
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
  • Willing to offer ideas, suggestions, and solutions
  • Good data management skills
  • Good command of both verbal and written English and Chinese, including Cantonese and Putonghua
  • Proficient PC skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Chinese Word Processing. Knowledge on photoshop is a plus
