The co-incubation programme between HKSTP and Astrazeneca is to accelerate innovation and support biomedical startups in their mission to develop integrated oncology solutions. In the programme, AstraZeneca will support startups and assist in connecting them with industry stakeholders and partners, to provide a clearer understanding on industry information and related opportunities. Additionally, AstraZeneca will also leverage its existing networks with Mainland China and global markets to provide platforms for exploring opportunities overseas.
Co-managed by HKSTP and GuangZhou KingMed Diagnostics Group Co., Ltd (KingMed), this scheme targets diagnostics and in-vitro diagnostics (IVD) startups in Hong Kong. On top of existing Incu-Bio programme’s benefits, incubatees will also receive professional coaching and advice on IVD/diagnostic platform development, go-to-market strategy, advice on regulatory affairs etc., and have non-exclusive access to the GMP manufacturing facilities in Guangzhou.
