In today’s fast moving economic and Internet driven environments, flexible and highly-innovative startups are consistently rising up as the winners.
Startups represent the most innovative young talent in Hong Kong and from around the world.
And by fostering these tech entrepreneurs, during their most vulnerable inception stages, HKSTP is moving Hong Kong one step closer to its ultimate goal – to drive creativity and make the city an epicentre for tech innovation.
Our Incubation Programme is split into three key areas, custom-made for startups in the fields of web and mobile technology, technology and biotechnology – Incu-App, Incu-Tech, and Incu-Bio.
Since 1992 until end May 2016, 410 technology incubatees are graduated in which 310 companies (i.e. 75%) are still in business and 4 IPOs in HK; while 247 incubatees are currently in programme.
The programme has raised over HK$1555 million angel/ venture capital for incubatees. Besides, our incubatees have throughout the years obtained 881 intellectual properties and 428 awards.
