Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Albert WONG Hak-keung

Mr. Albert Wong commits in supporting tech startups and enterprises at HKSTP on their quest for innovation and growth since 2016, working with a team that believes in entrepreneurial spirit, talent and networks cultivation, and transforming R&D endeavours into tangible innovations with commercial impact, being the keys in bringing HKSTP to be the preeminent foremost research and development hub in Hong Kong with a community of over 13,000 research professionals and 1,700 pioneering tech firms.

Prior to HKSTP, Albert spent over four decades at global conglomerates including PerkinElmer, Emerson, Caterpillar, Schlumberger and GE across US headquarters, Asia-Pacific and Mainland China CEO roles understanding company growth, investment networks and market solutions brought his insights in contributing as a Member of the Green Technology and Finance Development Committee under the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau, as well as the Advisory Committee for the Northern Metropolis under the Development Bureau, and to be an advocate for both the government and the I&T scenery. Understanding the importance of nurturing future innovators, he also serves as a member of the CUHK Council appointed by his alma mater, as well as a Member of the Information Systems Departmental Advisory Committee at the City University of Hong Kong.

Albert holds an Engineering Degree from the University of Hong Kong and an MBA from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. Beyond his professional pursuits, he is an avid runner who participated in more than 30 marathons worldwide.

Chief Project Development Officer

Mr. Tony Ho

Mr. Tony Ho has been practising master planning, architecture, interior design, and project management for over 30 years. He leads the Corporation’s Project Development Division (“PDD”) to spearhead master planning efforts, to effectively manage new developments and revamp projects at Science Park and the InnoParks. His task is to realise the strategies of the Corporation, and to elevate the community experience of the parks in a sustainable manner.

Tony joined the Corporation from the Urban Renewal Authority (URA), where he served as General Manager, Works & Contracts, directing projects integrating environmental and smart/innovative technologies while also focusing on commercial viability, cost control, quality workmanship and customer service. He also spent 14 years at Hutchison Property Group executing several mega residential, commercial and retail projects in Shanghai, Shenzhen and the UK, and his last role there was General Manager, Project Management.

Tony graduated cum laude from the University of Houston in the USA with a bachelor’s degree in architecture. He is a registered architect, an Authorized Person and a member of the Hong Kong Institute of Architects and the Hong Kong Institute of Facility Management.

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Aldous MAK

Mr. Aldous Mak is a seasoned finance and accounting professional with more than 20 years’ experience in financial planning, controllership, risk management, corporate advisory, business operations and financial system integration. He joined HKSTP as Chief Financial Officer in May 2019 to oversee Finance, IT, Process Re-engineering and Procurement, as well as providing advice on investments, corporate development and business decisions. He is also leading ongoing efforts within the Corporation to drive efficiency and effectiveness to maximise business results.

Aldous obtained his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration (Accountancy) and master’s degree in Business Administration from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology. He began his career as an Accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Hong Kong. Prior to joining HKSTP, he held various management roles, including Director of Finance at Hong Kong Disneyland. He is a Certified Public Accountant (Practising) with the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants and a Fellow member of The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants. 

Chief Operations Officer

Ms. Filla Mak

Ms. Filla Mak leads the Leasing, Commercial Leasing, InnoPark Lease Administration, Corporate Facility Management, InnoCell & Operation Services and Corporate Liaison. She has significantly contributed to building Science Park's vibrant ecosystem, drawing on over 30 years of experience in strategic planning, commercial real estate, property management and client relationships.

Since joining HKSTP in August 2017, Filla has spearheaded major accomplishments, including implementing a commercial leasing model that diversified retail and F&B offerings, improving the business model and occupancy rate of InnoCell, upgrading parking facilities, and enhancing the customer experience for park tenants and stakeholders. She also played a pivotal role in orchestrating and coordinating President Xi's successful and well-received visit to Science Park. 

Before joining HKSTP, she had a successful 24-year career with AIA, with her last position being Head of Real Estate and Corporate Services. 

With her wealth of experience, Filla seeks to leverage her extensive experience to drive transformative enhancements to HKSTP's world-class facilities and architect a collaborative climate that fuels technological ingenuity.

Chief of Staff

Ms. Gracie Ng

Ms. Gracie Ng is HKSTP’s first Chief of Staff since 2020, managing the corporation-wide rhythm for oversight of the corporate goals and KPIs, as well as programme management for novel strategic initiatives.

Gracie joined the Corporation in 2015 as Cluster Manager to administer the admission of companies and led the Smart City platform where she created Data Studio – the first API data sharing economy for Hong Kong.  Later, she was appointed Smart Campus leader where she activated Science Park as a living laboratory for Smart City technology innovation.

Gracie started her career in Management Consulting and transformative multinational technology implementation. She spent 15 years at IBM in various roles including Consulting, Marketing and Solution Sales. Before that, she was a Compensation Consultant with Mercer. Throughout her career, she had worked in major cities in Greater China, Asia Pacific and Europe.

General Counsel and Chief Compliance Officer

Mrs. Rosana WONG

Mrs. Rosana Wong is a highly credentialed commercial lawyer with a wealth of private practice and in-house experience. She joined HKSTP as General Counsel in June 2019, overseeing all legal-related matters and the Corporation’s strategic development and delivery of its various partnership initiatives.

Rosana obtained her law degree at the University of Hong Kong and was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong, England & Wales and Australia (Queensland, New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory). She began her career at Baker & McKenzie, working in both its Hong Kong and Sydney offices, before moving to Mayer Brown as an associate focusing on Corporate Finance.  After seven years in private practice, she moved in-house as a legal counsel for the tech giant IBM, supporting its business in Hong Kong and mainland China. 

With more than 30 years of commercial experience, Rosana joined HKSTP with the aspiration of giving back to the community through helping the Corporation implement its vision and mission to support a new era of Innovation and Technology for Hong Kong.

Chief Corporate Development Officer

Ir. Dr. HL Yiu

Ir. Dr. HL Yiu leads HKSTP's Technology and Industry Clusters, Incubation, Strategic Partnerships, and Platforms. He has been pivotal in creating value for partner companies through collaborations and attracting technology companies to Hong Kong.

Since joining HKSTP in 2007, HL assumed various leadership roles. In his most recent role as the Head of Innofacturing, he successfully repositioned three Industrial Estates into InnoParks, and drove the New Industrialisation initiatives like the Microelectronics Centre, Advanced Manufacturing Centre, Data Technology Hub, and MARS Centre. He also spearheaded the Electronics, Materials, Precision Engineering Clusters, and Robotics Platform.

Before HKSTP, HL served as engineering lead and senior executive at startups and MNCs, including 15 years at Motorola Semiconductor, where he was the General Manager for Asia, Networking, and Computing Group. HL holds eight patents and invented the DragonBall microprocessor, which propelled modern smartphones.

HL obtained his Bachelor and Master of Electronic Engineering, and Doctor of Business Administration from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University; Executive MBA, Master of Finance and Juris Doctor from The Chinese University of Hong Kong; Master of Laws from the University of Hong Kong. He is currently a Fellow Member of Hong Kong Institution of Engineers.
