    ASA is a Hong Kong-based company that specializes in technology solutions that help protect people from airborne pollutants. ASA will implement this patented technology - Ozone Catalytic Oxidation (OCO) as the VOCs removing technique to create an air purifying device. The benefit is the significantly extended usage life, 3 – 5 years. Environmental impact is also improved due to less replacement filters are needed. The technology has been studied by Dr. Oscar K.S. Hui and currently patented by City University of Hong Kong. ASA will develop air purifiers in residential and commercial space such as homes, offices and hotels. ASA will also engage in commercial projects that create ultra-clean living and working environments for larger commercial spaces such as open plan offices, hospitals and classrooms.     Product

    Traditional air purifying devices employ activated carbon as the absorbing (or adhering) media, to attract and hold contaminants from the polluted solution, in air or liquid form. The principle of activated carbon is like a trash can, to collect and store a lot of garbage, but there is no treatment. When the activated carbon exceeds the absorbable capacity, it will slowly release the pollutants in a low concentration which causing secondary pollution. The new technology OCO reaction principle is different, OCO is not a trash bin and it will not store pollutants, it will absorb the pollutants into water and carbon dioxide and other harmless substances. OCO can also handle invisible gas contaminants such as TVOC (volatile organic compounds), formaldehyde and some unpleasant flavors such as Ammonia, hydrogen sulfide and so on. In addition, OCO for biological pollution, such as bacteria, fungi, etc., can be effectively oxidized way decomposition, and truly "air purification."
