Manager, Centre Management [HKSTP/MCM/200115]

Job Responsibilities:- 

  • Driving the establishment of Robotics Catalysing Centre including the Centre design, tendering, vendor management, budgeting and progress monitoring
  • Driving the operation of fabrication laboratory in RCC by working closely with external service partners and internal technical team to deliver high quality prototyping service
  • Supporting on admission of corporates, solution providers and research institutes in RCC and strengthen their collaboration
  • Managing the operation of Robotics Catalysing Centre and executing the strategic plan to facilitate the robotics projects development in RCC and deployment in society
  • Building partnership with strategic partners in Robotics industry proactively from both demand and supply side in order to drive the deployment of Robotics in society
  • Driving the promotion of successful story natured in RCC community in order to drive more Robotics outsiders joining Science Park’s ecosystem
  • Supporting the corporate initiatives by executing developed business model and promotional plan
  • Performing any other duties assigned by the line manager as appropriate 


  • University graduate or above in Mechanical / Industrial / System Engineering / Electrical / Electronic / Mechatronics or related discipline / qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years’ relevant working experience in project management of multi-discipline project especially in automation and robotics. Candidate with less experience will be considered for lower position
  • Experience in developing and managing R&D projects with university / research institute is preferred
  • Experience in commercialization of R&D project with university / research institute is an advantage
  • Experience in developing and managing innovation projects within sizable corporations / MNCs is preferred
  • Previous exposure to Mainland China and overseas market(s) is a plus
  • Good relationship with technology community in Hong Kong is an advantage
  • Self-motivated, organized, a good team player and manager able to multi-task and work under pressure and tight schedule
  • Logical thinking, attention to details, great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (in particular Mandarin) required
