30 STATION 2: EXPAND WITHIN GBA Guangzhou serves as a national core city in GBA and an integrated gateway city, international commerce and industry centre and integrated transport hub. The GBA Development Plan seeks to consolidate the city’s function as a technological, educational and cultural centre, and develop it into a global metropolis.
