11 • Two InnoHK research clusters on healthcare technologies and artificial intelligence and robotics (AIR) technologies are being established at Science Park. • 16 State Key Laboratories and 6 Hong Kong branches of Chinese National Engineering Research Centres are undertaking research in diverse technology areas. • The Chinese Academy of Sciences is establishing two affiliated institutions in Hong Kong to facilitate R&D work on biomedicine and automation. • A Greater Bay Area academician alliance has been established in Hong Kong to promote the participation of academicians in the development of the Greater Bay Area. • HKSAR and Shenzhen governments are jointly developing the 87-hectare Hong Kong-Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park in Lok Ma Chau Loop, as Hong Kong’s largest I&T platform. • The Shenzhen-Hong Kong Innovation and Technology Co-operation Zone, comprising the Hong Kong- Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Park at the Lok Ma Chau Loop and the Shenzhen Innovation and Technology Zone adjacent to the Loop, gets Central Government support to facilitate the flow of talent, capital, goods, information and so forth.
