The centre provides share and low-cost leading edge EDA tools and state-of-the-art platforms for IC designs. Through an EDA-on-demand system based on multiple shared licenses, user can access the latest EDA tools from major EDA and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) vendors without extra costs.
Both on-site professional engineers at the IC Design Centre and on-site application engineers from the major EDA vendors provide front line technical support for using and configuring the supported EDA tools and platforms and expert consultation on IC design methodology in general, to the customers of Hong Kong Science Park.
