|
HKSTP's Aid Package and reduced rental, provided over a 3-year period (2-year for Design-based Incubation Programme; and 4-year for biotech companies at the biotech incubation centre in Phase 2 of Science Park), are conditional on incubatees meeting milestones which are stated in their business plans to be achievable by the end of the 6th month and 18th month (end of the 6th and 12th month for Design-based Incubation Programme) from the commencement of the incubation period, and which are approved by HKSTP. The achievement of these milestones relates to incubatees development including:
- product development status,
- HKSTP support services usage,
- sales and projected profit,
- number of staff employed.
Incubatees that do not achieve their milestones are not entitled to the Aid Package and reduced rental, and must pay the market rate for their office premises, or move out of the Small Enterprise Centre.
