Science Park Optical Network
The campus network is a "bandwidth freeway" and high availability for all IT applications at Science Park. It provided high-speed network connection for conventional data and multimedia services.

Wireless Local Area Network (LAN)
Science Park equipped with Wireless hotspots over the public areas. Laptop and palmtop users are able to access the campus network services or the Internet around the Park.

VSAT System
The VSAT service provides connectivity to remote locations in the region where fixed network infrastructure is not yet available. Infrastructure has been provided for such system installation.

Multi-Media Content Display Service
Digital multi-media content scheduling and display services allowed webcasting of latest news, advertisement, product information to the strategic locations over the Park.

Advance Cabling Network Infrastructure
Science Park was equipped with full diverse routing single-mode and multi-mode optical cabling network in addition to the conventional copper cabling infrastructure.

Smartcard Systems
One-card-for-all concept made smartcard to play a major role in accessing Science Park's facilities. Tenants will be checked for authorization privilege for entry into restricted zones within the Science Park (e.g. tenant office floors, car park, passenger lifts, etc.) The smartcards also have network account access capabilities for the PCs around the Park.

Presentation and Training rooms, Business Centre
The presentation and conference facilities consisted of three convention halls, seven meeting rooms, and a business centre. All facilities have direct connections to the Internal high-speed network linking tenant offices. Wired and wireless LAN connection are also available.

Video Conference and Shared Meeting Facilities
Science Park was equipped with advance IP based and ISDN based Video Conference and Audio Visual facilities.

Internet Service
Science Park is an Internet Service Provider (ISP) and it provides sophisticated high speed Internet connection service for the tenants.

Science Park Intranet Portal
It is a community service portal for the Science Park tenants. The user-friendly Intranet portal provides web services including on-line reservation for the park facilities, latest news and upcoming event, press release, tenant directory information, cyber discussion forum, etc.

HARNET connection
Science Park is a network member of the Hong Kong Academic and Research Network (HARNET). Diverse routing dedicated optical fiber direct linking Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) has been set up for collaboration.

Direct Optical Fiber link connection to IC Design Centre
With the cabling network architecture, dedicated direct optical fiber link for remote access to IC Design Centre at Innovation Centre building will be allowed. Tenants could make use of the remote link to facilitate their IC design works within the Park.

Information Kiosk Network
The information kiosk terminals are sited in common areas to provide visitors with access to services such as latest news, directory information, etc. The kiosks design catered for wheelchair and vision-impaired disability with text-to-speech and magnification functions.

Satellite Master Antenna Television System (SMATV)
The SMATV service is delivered over optical fiber network for satellite television broadcast distribution.

Barrier-free access
Science Park was equipped with induction loop system which provides barrier-free access for hearing aided person.

Customer Help Desk
A 24-7 facility provides service and technical help for Science Park tenants.
