  RMP Protection Limited
Introduction RMP Protection Ltd. was founded in 2005 and is currently developing Software and Services to commercially exploit our patented technology for small valued Internet transactions. Initial applications are e-mail anti-spam systems, web site loyalty schemes and general purpose micro-payment services. We have also created and are now developing a new umbrella brand called Carrot. Our long term objective is to establish Carrot as the premium method for transacting small valued items on the Internet (USD 1 and below), and ultimately to be accepted as the web standard for micro-payments.
Product Carrotmail is anti-spam software initially targeted at personal use. The software monitors e-mail messages as they enter and leave the computer and allows through only those messages that have a Carrot attached or those that are from a previously know sender. New Contacts are established using a challenge-response process which is mediated through a central web service and allows for the automatic establishment of new Carrotmail Contacts in addition to manual establishment of ordinary e-mail senders. For the reception of commercial e-mail (where the sender does not yet recognize the need to attach a Carrot), we provide a disposable e-mail address forwarding service. Disposable e-mail addresses allow a user to control the reception of commercial mail as they can limit the number, frequency or duration of e-mails accepted on a particular address. Carrotmail also has a simple integrated purse facility which allows Carrots to be safely transferred from person-to-person by e-mail and for instant payment to a web site using Carrotpay.

Carrotpay is a new method of making payments on the Internet. Web merchants can provide a Carrotpay button which will instantly cause a ‘Request for payment’ window to be displayed at the user’s computer. The user need only grant the payment request for Carrots to be extracted from their Carrotmail purse and payment is confirmed in just a few seconds. The merchant is immediately informed of the success (of failure), of the payment and may then proceed with the delivery of the product or service. Once a payment is confirmed by Carrotpay, it is final and is not subject to any form of charge-back.

Individual Carrotpay transactions may be for any value from about US cents 0.1 up, but the majority of transactions are expected to be in the range of USD 0.10 to USD 2.00 with a fixed fee of 2% being applied. Once a merchant has amassed a reasonable number of Carrots they may simple cash them in for the currency of their choice or use them in further Carrotpay transactions.

Carrotpay may be used with html only sites with no programming knowledge beyond the ability to create an html form. For those environments where programming tools are available, the merchant can use Carrotpay to take payments in a highly secure manner with complete confidence that payment has been received and is final for each individual transaction.

Technology RMPP uses a combination of client side software, web site and web services to provide a solution to e-mail spam and for web based micro-payments. These solutions are designed to provide non-stop services for use by millions of users with little or no customer interaction and therefore require state-of-the-art redundant hardware/software system. Our core technologies are protected by an international patent and our Carrot brand has trademark protection in Europe and the USA.
